Meet our new dean!
First dean of distance, continuing, and graduate education selected 
Dr. Craig Wilson has been selected as UW-Platteville's first dean of distance, continuing, and graduate education. Wilson is currently a Global Education Consultant for College MUNDO Corp. in Florida. Previously, he served as school director of the School of Business at Miami Dade College in Miami, Florida, and associate dean of strategy and innovation at the University of Miami in Florida, where he founded the Distance Learning Institute. Wilson will begin his new position on January 22, 2018.

Instructor Gary Hamilton shares how he applies the same project management principles he teaches to his hobby of long-distance running. "Preparing for an event or race is just like preparing for a major project—there will be obstacles, like injuries or changes in plans that come up, but if you prepare and plan in advance, you will find a way to succeed."

 STEM Virtual Career Fair 

The Distance Learning Center and the Career and Professional Development Office, in partnership with the National Science Foundation, are hosting a virtual career fair on February 22, and there are still spots open for employers who are looking to recruit qualified candidates in STEM fields.
