This week we are sending a reminder that you can sign up to attend a New Eagle Essentials webinar as a family member and access the Soar & Support! pre-orientation course for AU families.

Your student will receive instructions on how to upload their One Card ID, to be completed by July 15. If your student doesn't submit it before July 15, they will have to wait in line to have their picture taken when they first get to campus, so we encourage students to submit their pictures early!

We encourage our students to check their AU inboxes frequently, as all school communications will be sent there over the summer. Family members, it might be a great time to remind your students to stay up-to-date!

We're also sharing information about your student’s bill. See below details on what the bill includes, key dates, and how the proxy applies—important topics to discuss with your student!

As this is high school graduation season, remember that your student's school will need to send their final high school transcript to AU. We know this is a busy time for our incoming students and parents, but an exciting time as well!

Dates and Deadlines

Your student should:

🧮 Request to have their schools submit their final high school transcript - due June 30

💻 Attend a New Student Registration Webinar on June 11 if they missed the June 5 session to learn how to register for their courses

📚 Submit their placement credit exam results - due July 15

📸 Upload their One Card photo

💰 A bill is generated online as soon as your student registers for classes. BUT the bill is incomplete until housing and dining charges are added, and financial aid is posted.

On or about July 1, an email will be sent to your student and their proxy notifying them that their bill is ready to be viewed online. If your student has made you their proxy, you will receive the email as well. Note: The fall payment is due on August 1.

Join us for an informative virtual session about the many resources on campus! Incoming students must attend one of three New Eagle Essentials held over the summer on Zoom. Parents are also able to register to attend one of the sessions. New Eagle Essentials will be held:

Tuesday, June 25, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Wednesday, July 10, noon - 3 p.m.

Saturday, July 20, 9 a.m. - noon

➡️Click Soar & Support

➡️Click the ‘Forgot Password’ option to set up your password (use your email address for the ‘Login’ detail)

➡️After you receive an email from AU Canvas to set a new password, you will land on a Change login password page and input your new password

➡️Go 'Back to Login,' click 'agree' to accept the user policy, and you will be ready to explore in Soar & Support!
