Finding new and innovative ways to connect with learners is an important goal, but what to choose in a veritable sea of available options? This SET will discuss one emerging strategy to connect with students, enhance learning, and deepen your own personal skillset as we explore options for using audio and video podcasting as instructional tools. Join professor and podcaster Toby Brooks as he explains the background/theory, practical aspects, and ai-assisted tools that he is using to enhance learning for undergraduate students in this hour-long workshop. On November 6, the Graduate School honored the Outstanding Graduate Student Award winners for 2023-24, celebrating 14 students from 12 departments whose scholarly work stood out among their outstanding peers in the Graduate School. Read more about the winners here.

The Graduate School is eager to support students and their original research through two kinds of travel support to students who are formally registered for credit hours: Travel to Professional Meetings and Travel to Support Doctoral Research. **ALL applications must be submitted at least four weeks prior to travel to be considered.** Please see more here.
