The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) Board of Directors approved the 2025 9% and 4% Qualified Allocation Plans (QAP) at their Sept. 3, 2024 meeting.

Please note, the timeline for 2025 9% Housing Tax Credit Applications has been accelerated based on stakeholder feedback, to the following:

- Nov. 1, 2024: Application Package Available

Between Feb. 1-12, 2025, 4:30 p.m. CT: Qualified Service Provider due to IFA
- Feb. 19, 4:30 p.m. CT: Application Package due to IFA
- Late March/Early April 2025: Application Deficiency Period
- May 2025: IFA Tax Credit Award Recommendations presented to Board
The Housing Tax Credit team will be offering one-hour sessions to discuss projects/applications beginning in January.

Please be aware that IFA will be accepting applications beginning in November 2024 for the 2025 4% Housing Tax Credit program. Projects awarded under the 2025 program will utilize 2026 bond cap.

|
Please contact the Housing Tax Credit team with any questions. Questions submitted will be compiled and added to the Q&A on the tax credit program page of the IFA website.
