Clickable linked text should be clearly and easily understood, and should make sense even when taken out of context. Never use “click here” or “read more.” Sight-impaired users use technological aids to identify and read links out loud, and it’s confusing when every link on a page uses the same generic command.
A link should plainly identify where it’s going. When you link to another web page, use the full page title as your link text. If you’re linking to a PDF or eform, use the title of the PDF or form, and identify it as such.
