Register for courses for the Fall 2025 Semester.
Register for a Dialogue Across Difference (DxD) class next fall semester! Learn to dialogue on important topics during this one-credit, eight-week course open to undergraduate students. Build active listening, critical thinking, and team building skills through dialogue. The class meets two times per week for 50 minutes. Sections are available on politics, gender, race, and interfaith topics. The courses are small, seminar size classes with co-instructor teams. Learn more.

Standing Up for Democracy: Studies of Democratic Renewal in South Korea

The social work profession has long played an important role in advancing democracy and civic engagement—from women’s suffrage and civil rights to labor protections and antipoverty movements. But citizen democratic participation is never perfect and requires constant renewal. This symposium, one of several events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Center for Social Development and the centennial of the Brown School, brings together leading South Korean scholars to reflect on and provide insights from South Korea’s struggles for democratic renewal. Kemper Art Museum's New Perspectives Talks: Call for Proposals

New Perspectives talks are paid opportunities for emerging scholars to conduct research and give a public talk on the Museum’s collection. These talks are given by graduate students in Arts & Sciences and the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts and focus on one or more works from the collection, aligning with the students’ own expertise and disciplinary interests.
The Kemper Art Museum is seeking proposals for New Perspectives talks in the 2025-26 academic year. Proposals should list very specifically the works in the Museum’s collection that will be addressed and outline how the talk engages with the student’s academic research. Volunteer at the Old Courthouse Grand Re-Opening

Saturday, May 3, Gateway Arch Park
Opening Day at the Old Courthouse celebrates the completion of the largest public-private partnership in the history of the National Park Service. After several years, the Old Courthouse will re-open to the public with new exhibits, an elevator, and other amenities. The Ribbon Cutting ceremony will include performances by local groups and speeches given by public officials, followed by a festival in Kiener Plaza. Volunteers will help support the Dignitary Reception, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, or help at the Journey to Justice Festival. Miniwanca is operated by the American Youth Foundation, which has administrative offices in St. Louis. We're currently hiring staff for many roles, including camp counselors, adventure trip leaders, facilities and food program team members, and many more.
Staff training is on June 15, and Summer camp runs from June 29 to Aug. 8. Housing and all meals are provided. All seasonal staff roles can be used for internship credit, if needed. Learn more and apply.
