Reimagining Professional Development Awards provide funding and support to graduate student and postdocs who propose and create professional development resources that address unmet needs and are applicable to a variety of disciplines. Individuals may receive up to $1,500 in awards; team proposals may receive up to $3,000.

Academic First-Round Interview Workshop Tuesday, Dec. 2, noon-1 p.m., FAC Classroom ABC
This workshop will introduce strategies to help prepare when interviewing for academic positions, including researching institutions, answering questions about your research, teaching and service, and finding ways to emphasize fit. Join us to learn more about the dynamics of academic interviews and develop confidence on the academic job market.
Interviewing Lab for Graduate Students and Postdocs Wednesday, Dec. 3, noon-1:30 p.m., FAC Classroom ABC
In this lab, you’ll practice answering common questions, explore strategies to strengthen your responses and learn effective preparation techniques. Leave feeling confident and ready to succeed in your next interview.

This interactive spring course helps you explore career options, clarify goals and design actionable plans using a life design approach. Meets in-person on Fridays from 10:30–11:45 a.m. during the spring semester. This is a zero-credit hour course, graded on a credit/no credit basis. 2026 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit
