Economic Engine Across Southern MN Opens

Senator Amy Klobuchar, Governor Tim Walz, Senator John Jasinski, and Representative John Petersburg were among the Federal, State and Local elected officials south of Claremont today to celebrate the opening of Highway 14 today. The $107M, 12 mile stretch between Owatonna and Dodge Center now connects 3 regional centers with the four-lane highway-Rochester, Owatonna and Mankato. Flemke Opens Farmers Union Agency

Ambassadors visit with the Flemke Agency; 210 W Main ST, in Owatonna, to welcome them as a new member. Ben Flemke is the owner and agent. The Flemke Agency is a Farmers Union Agency, that specializes in business and personal insurance.

Family Business Since 1892 and Still Growing

Ambassadors visited with member business, Souba Greenhouse, 4003 Crane Creek Road in Owatonna, to congratulate the business on its recent green house expansion. Bill and Debi Souba, Jody Hugley and Jon DeMars are the owners.

Temporary Lights as Supply Chain Waiting Game

Utility work and base prep will occur within the alley
Once the roadway is open to vehicle trafic, temporary lighting will be installed and will remain until the permanent poles arrive
Limestone blocks will be placed around the planting beds
Pavers will be set within the boulevard
200 Block
Contractor is expecting to pave the concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, and parking lanes working toward the mainline pavement

Increase Demand=Drive Thru Reopen

The demand for vaccines have increased and Steele County Public Health needed to change clinic locations from Steele County Public Health to the Steele County Public Works Building located at 3000 Hoffman Drive, Owatonna as a drive-thu clinic on Wednesday's; 10:30 am - 4:30 pm. Vaccines are being offered for all variations of booster shots, flu vaccines and also vaccines for children 5 years and older.
