It’s been another wonderful year at CCF with the continuation of many important education and awareness programs for the NET community. From our video series to the Luncheon with the Experts FB Live events, our support line to the distribution of important news about clinical trials and new developments related to treatment and diagnosis, we’ve been able to remain a sustainable and impactful organization thanks to the generous donations from the community. On behalf of the NET community and all of us at the foundation, thank you for your support which has helped us get a little closer to our mission of worldwide awareness and education about NETs.
The year ahead looks equally promising at the foundation with many programs being continued and some new ones in the works that we hope to roll out soon. Ultimately we are here to be of service to everyone affected by NETs and that means we continually look at ways to accelerate our mission. We know that awareness and education are the starting point to enhanced treatments, more rapid diagnosis, and more interest in the diseases that comprise NETs. We also know that we are one of the starting points to encourage research because with awareness comes interest. We will continue to provide that springboard from which interest in NETs continually increases and we will do that by building relevant programs and providing key educational resources about NETs.
