UCLA Law’s former dean of admissions died on Feb. 8. In three decades, starting in 1970, Rappaport founded the celebrated LEOP program and welcomed generations of students into the community. Professor Emeritus Paul Bergman warmly remembers his "good-natured” colleague: "During a turbulent era, Mickey’s talent for recognizing applicants with diverse interests and leadership qualities helped the still-young UCLA Law develop into an elite academic institution.”
