August is Immunization Awareness Month
As students prepare to go back to school, August is National Immunization Awareness Month. Promoting HPV vaccination by using trusted messaging in the GW HPV Awareness Toolkit can help providers navigate conversations on this cancer prevention vaccine! Additionally, August 1 is World Lung Cancer Day, celebrated to raise awareness of lung cancer issues, encourage early screening and prevention, and appeal for more lung cancer research funding.
