Andy Beckman and Nichole Roberts exit mornings at Federated Media's Hot AC/WMEE (97.3fm, Fort Wayne). Ms. Roberts left to become a full time Mom.
In March 2011, Mr. Beckman and Ms. Roberts teamed up in mornings. WMEE OM Jimmy Knight tells Nexstar CBS affiliate/WANE-TV (Channel 15, Fort Wayne): “Nichole made the decision to leave radio to stay home with her kids. With her departure, we will be going in a new direction in morning drive with a new team. Once that time comes, it will be a live & local show.”
"John The Mexican" exits mornings at Federated Media's Active Rock/WBYR (98.9fm, Woodburn). His co-host Heather Rooney moves to middays. Succeeding John and Heather in mornings is a simulcast of The Jason Lee and Kluck Show from sister WRBR (103.9fm, South Bend). This means there's two Jason Lee broadcasters in Fort Wayne; the other is the Production Director for Adams Radio Group and hosts nights on their Classic Rock/WXKE (96.3fm, Churubusco).
Northcentral
Larry Langford's Oldies/WGTO (910am, Cassopolis, Michigan) and W246DV (97.1fm, South Bend) both remain oldies, but flipped on Saturday (7/4) to MeTVFM Radio. There will also be cross promotion with Weigel Broadcasting’s MeTV affiliate/WBND (Channel 57.2, South Bend).

Kevin Rader, reporter for TEGNA's NBC affiliate/WTHR-TV (Channel 13, Indianapolis) will retire tomorrow. Mr. Rader joined WTHR 30 years ago and will remain in Indiana after retirement. Mr. Rader won two Edward R. Murrow Awards, seven Regional Murrow Awards, and 27 regional Emmys for his work at WTHR. Last month, he wrote this on Facebook:
This is a hard note to write so I will keep it short. After 30 years at WTHR I have decided to retire. I have enjoyed sharing your stories and your lives but it is time for me to step away. I still intend to write about Indiana but my days in television are coming to a close on July 7th.
I raised four children here and intend to stay. My wife Heather wouldn't have it any other way.
I was born a Husker and will die a Hoosier. That makes me twice blessed. Thank you for 30 great years!
Tribune Broadcasting's FOX affiliate WXIN-TV (Channel 59, Indianapolis) pairs Angela Brauer and Nick McHill for their morning news anchor team. Ms. Brauer joined FOX59 and sister CBS4 in 2017, after working in Albuquerque for KOAT-TV, while Mr. McGill joined FOX59 and sister CBS4 in 2016, after working in Denver, Colorado for KUSA-TV.
Kids First's Variety/WITT (91.9fm, Zionsville) signed on over a decade ago. They recently replaced their transmitter with a new 3,000 watt GatesAir FM transmitter. Check out the WITT schedule (please scroll down).

Reising Radio Partners' Country/WYGB (100.3fm, Edinburgh) adds the syndicated Sam Alex Show in nights (7pm until Midnight).

Nexstar ABC affiliate/WEHT-TV (Channel 25, Evansville) moves RF channels from 7 to 12. If you watch them over the air, you'll have to rescan your TV. This includes their sub channels (.2/Laff and .3/COZI TV.) If you watch them by satellite or cable, there's no impact to you as the viewer. WEHT has more information on their website.
Where Are They Now? Former Evansville and Marion DJ "Big Rick" Daniels joins Gulf South Communications to program their Country/WTVY-FM, along with cluster wide digital brands manager.
