DEADLINE: MARCH 25!ASM Global Stars Scholarship Program
ASM is committed to providing diverse and under-resourced communities with educational and career development opportunities through scholarship awards and prospective internships. The program is awarding $2,500 scholarships for up to 100 students. Applicants must self-identify as one or more of the following: female, Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Hispanic or Latino, Asian, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander. And, must be pursuing one of the following areas of study: Business/International Business, Hospitality/Entertainment/Sports Management, Communications/Public Relations/Digital Media, Information Technology, or Graphic Design. The Japan Education Training Sports Exchange Advisers (SEA) program is seeking qualified athletes to serve as SEAs in Japan. SEAs live and work in placements across Japan and engage with Japanese youth to promote cultural exchange through sport. Japanese language skill is NOT required. Read more.

Deadline: April 15ReNew Democracy Foundation Fellowship
For nine months, Fellows work side-by-side with center-left Members of Congress and staff on legislative initiatives. Fellows receive a $5,000 monthly stipend, relocation allowance, mentoring, and other support. Fellows must be lawfully authorized to work full-time without restriction for any US employer and be able to reside in the DC starting September 9, 2024 for the duration of the fellowship. Read more.

Deadline: April 29William D. Clarke, Sr. Diplomatic Security Fellowship
A two-year fellowship program funded by the US Department of State which provides graduate funding over two years, two summer practica, professional development, and mentorship, culminating in an appointment as a Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent. To be eligible, applicants must be US citizens, seek admission to a two-year full-time master’s degree program, and hold a minimum 3.2 GPA. Read more.

Deadline: April 1REU Site: Control of Gene Expression for Biological Effect
The SURF/NSF-REU Program at Boston University is open to non-BU students who are rising juniors or rising seniors and wish to conduct research in the sciences or technology fields. The program consists of ten weeks of full-time research in a lab, mentored by a BU faculty member. Ignite student learning with our virtual, paid, part-time tutoring and mentorship fellowship. Fellows lead small-group virtual learning with the support of a veteran educator. Ignite Fellows Work 3-5 hours per week for a semester (13 weeks), build relationships and foster belonging, accelerate learning in elementary reading or middle school math, tutor virtually, and earn a $1,200 stipend.
