Outside of being a volunteer for RECLAIM!, I work as a School Counselor at a public high school in the Twin Cities area. I am often asked to help students and families find community resources to help them with a variety of needs, from transportation, to medical assistance, and everything in between. When I was in graduate school, I was surprised by how limited my knowledge was when it came to finding LGBTQIA+ specific resources. Home Test to Treat Program |
Home Test to Treat offers free testing, telehealth and treatment for both COVID-19 and for influenza A and B.
• COVID/flu at-home tests to anyone who is uninsured or enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, VA Healthcare or IHS.
• Free COVID-19 and flu telehealth and treatment to anyone currently positive for either COVID-19 or flu regardless of insurance status.
What: The federal government has expanded the Home Test to Treat program, an entirely virtual community health program that offers free COVID-19 health services: at-home rapid tests, telehealth sessions and at-home treatments, to eligible participants nationwide. Home Test to Treat, which is a collaboration among the National Institutes of Health, the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, launched as a pilot in select locations earlier this year.
