1. Howl Fair
Looking to get more involved on campus? Check out the Howl Fair in the Uptown Multipurpose Room tomorrow, September 8th, from 12:30 - 2:30 pm. This is an opportunity to connect with student organizations, campus resources, and communities that can help you find your place in the pack! 2. Feast of St. Peter Claver
Wednesday is the Feast of St. Peter Claver, a Spanish Jesuit priest and missionary born in Spain who became the patron saint of slaves, Colombia, and ministry to African Americans. Loyola's Claver Fund for emergency aid to students is named for him. All are invited to attend Mass in his honor Wednesday at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of St. Ignatius. Also, New Orleans' St. Peter Claver Church is named in his honor, and all are invited to celebrate Mass there this Sunday at 10 am. For questions or accommodations, email getinvolved@loyno.edu.

3. J-term Study Abroad Info Session
Come learn more about uncovering the "real" Florence during J-term 2027! Professor Emily Capdeville will be leading this info session about the program. Come to Bobet Hall, Room 332, this Thursday, September 10th, at 4 pm to learn more about the course, the costs, and the application process for the J-term study abroad. 4. Wolf Pack LaunchU Final Pitch Competition
Join the Loyola Center for Entrepreneurship and Community Development on Thursday, September 10th, from 5 - 8 pm in Miller Hall, Room 114, for the Wolf Pack LaunchU 2026 Final Pitch Competition, presented by Dr. Bobby and Lori Kent Savoie. Eight standout startup ventures led by Loyola students, alumni, and faculty will pitch live for a share of nearly $50,000 in seed funding and venture support. Enjoy food and beverages at an opening reception, with the live pitches begin at 5:30 pm. Admission is free and open to the public. To RSVP click here. 5. SGA Org Summit
If your student organization is planning events, attending conferences, or looking for ways to fund your oganization this semester, the SGA Org Summit is necessary. In order to get allocations from SGA for your org, two representatives from your student org will need to attend one Org Summit. The first summit is this Friday, September 11th, from 3 - 5 pm, in the SGA Hub. There will be two other opportunities, September 15th and 17th, from 11 am - 1 pm, to attend an Org Summit. If you can't make these dates, email Lucas Estrada at sgadof@loyno.edu by September 10th to arrange an alternative session. You can register for an Org Summit here.
