The Spring 2019 Final Exam Schedule Has Been Posted
Can you hear the roars of applause and excitement? That sound you hear is Brebeuf Jesuit students upon realizing that the final exam schedule has been posted for Spring 2019! Students are asked to double-check the schedule in order to determine whether or not they have a conflict. A conflict is defined as two exams scheduled at the same time or four exams scheduled in one day. Please report any conflicts to the Principal’s Office. As always, during final exam days, students are required to be present only during the times they have exams. It is always difficult to find alternative times to take final exams and often it has a detrimental effect on a student’s performance on the exam. Therefore, we ask families to please make every effort to schedule around final exams so that all students are present at their assigned exam times. If you have any questions about finals scheduling please contact Shani Simonson in the Principal’s Office at ssimonson@brebeuf.org.

Student Spotlight
Niels Caspersen '19
Loves About Brebeuf The friends I’ve made, trying to eat in the library, Leo Magid, and wheelie chairs. Future Plans I plan to go to the moon, race Nascar (probably), go to Notre Dame, and learn tube surfing.
Favorite Class World Religions
Teams & Co-Curriculars - Cross Country & Track
- Conservation Club
- Social Justice Club
Random Facts - I have a fully-synthetic left femur.
What is your current favorite show or series on TV, Netflix, etc. Twin Peaks
What is the silliest/most irrational fear you have? That I have a long lost twin that is out to kill me and take over my life. If we ever found one another, we would battle on sight.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be? Safeway Chicken As many know, your mom is a faculty member here at Brebeuf. What is it like to go to school where your mom works? Well carpooling is pretty convenient, and signing permission slips is no big deal. At first it was weird because we were essentially both freshman, and usually your parents know what they are doing, but neither of us really had a good sense of how to work in Brebeuf. But it has been pretty neat to figure it out alongside her. Last year she won the Ignatian Educator Award, and I’m super proud to be able to call her my mom when I see her walking through the halls. You are now in your final semester at Brebeuf Jesuit. Has it sunk in yet? I don’t know. College hasn’t really sunk in, which I suppose means neither has Brebeuf coming to a close. Its just going to be wild walking across that stage at Clowes.
In what way have you changed the most since your freshman year? I have lost the vast majority of my pastel pants and Hawaiian shirts.
