Dear Faculty:
Thank you to those of you who have attended our listening sessions. We have enjoyed talking with you and hearing your ideas for the Center for Faculty Development! If you were unable to make it to a listening session, please be on the lookout for a very short survey from the CFD in the next few weeks. This will be another opportunity for you to shape our programming.
We want to remind you that for every CFD event you attend this semester you will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for the upcoming Lilly conference in San Diego in January (9th -11th). The conference theme this year is Teaching for Active and Engaged Learning. Please click here for more information. We will have 5 winners and you can increase your chances by attending more of our CFD events! The winners will have their conference registration and their hotel stay paid for.
Also, when possible, we will be offering our events both in-person and on Zoom. You can indicate your preference on the RSVP form.

Listen. Engage. Vote.
As part of LMU’s Strategic Plan, we are entrusted with the mission of fostering a new generation of ethical leaders capable of confronting the complex challenges of our global society. In light of the forthcoming 2024 elections, we recognize the need to prepare our students not only to participate but also to engage thoughtfully and responsibly in the electoral process. A cross-divisional workgroup was formed to address this need and gather the various resources, programs, and events related to the election. Please reference and share this link to stay up-to-date on election related happenings.
