"Our soon-to-be new alums are now busy finishing up their course work but they will soon be challenged with finding their way as they adjust to life after college. For some this will mean graduate or professional school. For others this new life will focus on employment. In all cases, however, the pressures one feels to make a difference can often feel daunting."
David Norwood was selected as this year’s CASL Alumnus of the Year. Norwood spent much time on this campus in the 70’s and now reflects on his time here as a student, and what receiving this award means to him.
Con Lustig and Majd Faraj will be recognized as CASL's two Chancellor's Medallion recipients during the university's commencement ceremony on December 15. Each commencement, faculty choose recipients based on academic records, quality of character, vitality, intellect and integrity. CASL student Courtney Grove-Dyer and alumna Gay Johnson ('17 BA) will speak at the ceremony. Economics alumna Emily Kolinski Morris ('90 BA) will give the commencement address.
