Summer Camp Info Night

Date: Wednesday, March 9

The Summer Camp registration lottery will be March 28-April 1. Do you have questions about our summer programs or are you interested in learning more? Join our Early Childhood, School Age and KC Nature Recreation Coordinators for an information night on Wednesday, March 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ranch House to learn more about the following camps:

  • Early Childhood: Preschool Prairie Dogs, Little Peeps and Chickadees for kids ages 3-6 years
  • School Age: The Hoots, Dah Bears and The Lions Camps for kids ages 6-12; Teen and Pre-Teen Camps
  • KC Nature: Tadpoles and Frogs Camp for kids ages 5-10 years old

Bond Project Construction Update for Dakota Lodge

The new addition at Dakota Lodge is almost done! Crews will soon be painting the interior and exterior of the addition. The addition will add approximately 1,650 square feet of multi-purpose event space to the facility. While the addition was under construction, new bathrooms were being built in the original building. When the addition is complete, the KC Nature Environmental Education classes will temporarily move into the new section while the rest of the original building is renovated to include offices and a classroom. Kanga & Roo Playgroup Outside on the Playground this Friday

This Friday, March 4, the Kanga & Roo Playgroup will be outside ONLY. Please join us at the Ranch House playground anytime from 9:30-11:30 a.m. to meet other caregivers in our community and their little ones! The Kanga & Roo Playgroup is a fun and engaging FREE playgroup setting for families with young children every Friday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Ranch House. The playgroup is brought to you by the Ken-Caryl Community Network and the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District.

Parent Lecture Series: Nutrition

Are you interested in learning some new and fun ways to get your kiddo involved in their healthy eating habits? Come join Cristina Rebellon, Registered Dietician with The Little Clinic, for an informational and engaging lecture on healthy eating on Tuesday, March 8 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Community Center. This event is free and includes light refreshments and childcare.

Easter Egg Hunt March 20

The annual Ken-Caryl Ranch Easter Egg Hunt is March 20. There will be an egg hunt, prizes and fun for the whole family. You won't want to miss it! The event is sponsored by the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District, Ken-Caryl Community Network and Pat Lynch with Re/Max Professionals.

Master Association Annual Meeting March 1; Turn in Your Proxy for a Chance to Win a Free Month of Dues

The Annual Meeting of the Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1 at 7 p.m. at the Ranch House. Residents need to sign and return their proxy slip because 2,467 signed proxies are needed to establish quorum for the Annual Meeting. As of Feb. 29, we only have 1,514 proxies. You can download a Proxy Form and return it by scanning and emailing it to annettec@kcranch.org, faxing it to 303-972-1272, or dropping it off at the Ranch House. To be entered into the drawing for one free month of dues, just return your proxy prior to the Annual Meeting on March 1.
