Succeed student and Tritons swimmer Lawrence Sapp competes in Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games |
Sapp competed in the 100-meter butterfly. He previously placed fifth in the event at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games. He is already training for LA 2028!

At the annual State of the University Address Chancellor Kristin Sobolik highlighted contributions of University of Missouri–St. Louis faculty and staff. Included were the UMSL COE's Dr. Lindsay Athamanah and Dr. Jonathan Lidgus.

Vanhooser served as a youth programs manager at San Antonio Sports before moving to Special Olympics Texas to help administer its Unified Champion Schools program.

Education PhD graduate Gabrielle Sewester aims to create more stability in the foster care system |
Sewester has identified three key components to successful placements through interviews with foster care parents across Missouri.

Music education major Alex Wurl striving to get more children involved in performing arts |
Wurl, who works with St. Louis Children’s Choirs and the Des Lee Fine Arts Education Collaborative, is student teaching at Barretts Elementary in Manchester during his final semester at UMSL.
