Student input on celebrating the Class of 2020

This is a message for the families of seniors at RAHS and FAHS. Yesterday, Superintendent Sicoli, Principal Hester and Principal Freer sent a message to seniors at RAHS and FAHS through Schoology, asking for ideas and feedback on how students want to celebrate the completion of their high school experience. The video message shared with them is below.
We are using a crowdsourcing engagement tool called ThoughtExchange, which creates a space for students to enter ideas and comment on those ideas, and then see and rate the ideas of their classmates. It is not a survey, where we have predetermined the options for them to consider. It has open-ended questions, like:
  • As we consider ways to celebrate the conclusion of your high school experience in Roseville, what are your thoughts and ideas for creating meaningful and memorable end-of-year celebrations?
  • What are the most important things that we need to recognize you and your classmates?
We felt it was important to give students a chance to share their ideas with us, and understand that this is a difficult time for all involved. Please encourage your student to look at the message they received in Schoology, and to participate in the thought exchange.
