NSCAP VAS Pilot Call for Applications
Dear Industry Partner,
The National Security Cyber Assistance Program (NSCAP) Vulnerability Assessment Service (VAS) pilot program call for applications will begin on 19 September 2016 at 1200EST. The main objective of the pilot program is to evaluate 5 completed applications utilizing the NSCAP VAS accreditation criteria.
If you are interested in participating, the NSA/IAD will be accepting applications for the program pilot beginning 19 September 2016 at 1200EST as outlined below:
* Application Packages should conform to guidance provided in the VAS Instruction Manual
* Application submission window opens at 12:00 (noon) EST on Monday, 19 September 2016 and will close at 12:00 (noon) EST on 30 September 2016 or upon notification that 5 complete Application Packages have been received
* Confirmation of receipt will be provided for Application Packages
* Application Packages will be reviewed to determine completeness and acceptance for evaluation
* Notification with feedback will be provided to submitters of incomplete Application Packages
* Complete Application Packages will be evaluated in the order in which they are received
* Intention is to evaluate at least 5 complete Application Packages (Complete IAW the application checklist)
* Notification will be sent to all applicants when 5 complete packages have been received
* Submitting an Application Package does not guarantee an accreditation
* An accreditation (24 months) does not result in a US Government security clearance or prequalification for US Government contracts
* An organization's participation in any portion of the VAS Pilot Program process outlined herein constitutes recognition and acceptance of these conditions

The VAS pilot will accredit companies qualified to provide on-site VAS to National Security Systems owners and operators for 24months.
Submit your completed Application Package to the NSCAP Program office at
NSCAP@nsa.gov.
The email subject line should read Application for VAS Pilot Program COMPANY NAME
