Click here to download the September 21 - October 29 8-day Cycle Schedules.
NOTES AND DETAILS
On Tuesday, Brebeuf Jesuit published the next two 8-day academic cycles with Maroon/Gold hybrid designations, which takes us through October 29. As before, this is for your planning purposes, but does NOT ensure that we will necessarily remain in a hybrid schedule through this period. Should we be in a position to move to 100% in-person instruction during the month, we will work to provide at least a week's notice before transition occurs.

OPPORTUNITY FOR A VIRTUAL RETREAT BASED ON THE SPIRITUAL EXERCISES
The Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College invites you to participate in 12 Weeks in Manresa: Spiritual Exercises for our Times, a virtual retreat in daily life based on the Spiritual Exercises, using a text offered through Jesuit Sources: “ Finding Christ in the World: A Twelve Week Ignatian Retreat in Everyday Life,” by Joseph Tetlow, S.J., and Carol Atwell Ackels.
In addition to the book, which will guide your daily prayer, there are two additional components of the retreat: presentations on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, led by Fr. Casey Beaumier, S.J., and optional small group faith sharing.
The retreat will begin on October 4 and conclude on December 25. For more information visit the Institute's website. The retreat is designed to be done individually or in a small group, whatever your preference. The retreat will coincide with a virtual Ignatian pilgrimage.

FIRST FRIDAY EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
On the first Friday of each month during the school year (with the exception of January 1), the 7:45 a.m. Mass in the Brebeuf Jesuit Chapel will conclude with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The Blessed Sacrament will then remain exposed into the second PRT (1:45 - 2:20 p.m.) with benediction and reposition at about 2:05 p.m.
If you are interested in spending some time in prayer in the Brebeuf Jesuit Chapel (10 minutes, or an hour, or more, or less) between 8:00 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. on these days, email Fr. Chris ( cjohnson@brebeuf.org) with your desired arrival and departure times, and he will register you as a visitor.
Within Catholic tradition there is a rich variety of devotional prayer. Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament exposed is one of those devotions. Some may be familiar with this practice and others not. If you would like to learn a bit more about it, whether you have an interest in engaging in the practice or not, Fr. Chris would be pleased to take your questions.

HELP US REACH OUR PHILANTHROPY WEEK GOAL TOMORROW!
All week long we have been highlighting philanthropy’s important role at Brebeuf Jesuit and tomorrow we celebrate the greatest day of Philanthropy Week, Giving Day—the day to make your gift to Brebeuf Jesuit!
Tomorrow, we celebrate our rich tradition of educating men and women for others and the important role that philanthropy plays in bringing that tradition to life.
For 58 years, Brebeuf Jesuit has provided an opportunity for a formative, Jesuit education to the Indianapolis community. This opportunity is made possible only by the support of our community through The Brebeuf Fund.
Every gift to The Brebeuf Fund ensures we are able to remain true to the mission of Brebeuf, to the principles of St. Ignatius, educating all of our gifted and capable students, regardless of financial circumstance. And now more than ever, with the uncertainty that this year brings, we are relying on the strength of our community to support our important work in forming men and women for others.
Help us reach our goal of 250 donors celebrating Giving Day by making your gift to The Brebeuf Fund by visiting brebeuf.org/brebeufgives! Gifts received now until September 25 will be counted towards our #BrebeufGives Philanthropy Week totals.
You can also celebrate Giving Day by telling the world why you give to the Brebeuf Jesuit community on social media with #BrebeufGives!
