Building Services deep cleans buildings

To contribute to the University’s efforts to limit the spread of any virus, Building Services staff are disinfecting buildings across campus. Over the next three weeks, workers are concentrating their efforts on residence halls and offices while also thoroughly cleaning other facilities. They are disinfecting door handles, sinks, countertops, and other surfaces that people touch and, in some places, they are using electrostatic disinfection.

Online classes to replace in-person instruction next week

In an email to faculty over the weekend, Tom Burish, the Charles and Jill Fischer Provost, said, “Your response to this unprecedented situation – transitioning to online education delivery within a week – has been exceptional.” Instructional resources, plans and best practices can be found at coronavirus.nd.edu/instructional-continuity.

Staff 

Significant number of staff now working from home 

Staff, whose roles allow it, may work from home with supervisor approval. In a letter to staff on March 14, executive leadership said, “We are deeply grateful for your dedication, patience, and flexibility as we confront this current challenge together.”

Health 

Wellness Center shifts hours, pharmacy now "drive-thru" only

As of this week, the Wellness Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday. (Click for pharmacy hours.)
