Dementia and the Law

A recent surge in dementia-related conditions, particularly Alzheimer's Disease, has created innumerable legal repercussions that have not yet been fully recognized or addressed. At this one-day event, medical and legal professionals engaged in the latest cutting-edge research will discuss defining and diagnosing dementia and its implications in various legal areas, including trusts and estates, personal injury, and criminal law. The symposium will highlight recent advancements in cures and pharmaceutical treatment and their potential ramifications.
