Fitness Research Project
Special Olympics Kansas has partnered with Special Olympics North America and Pittsburg State University to do a large state-wide fitness research project this fall. As one of just a handful of states to participate in this program, we are looking to collect health data on 150 athletes in fitness programming and 100 in sports training only between August 2020 and January 2021.
We are looking for programs/teams with 10 or more athletes over the age of 18 that would like to join us in this program. Participating athletes will receive a Fitbit and other incentives for completing the fitness program. Interested in receving more information? Contact Chris Burt at burtc@ksso.org
