Grad students are often actively building credit for post-graduation necessities like renting an apartment, buying a car, or qualifying for a mortgage. Great teaching requires reflection. This session will help you pause, look back, and learn from your own experiences in the classroom. Through guided prompts and discussion, you’ll explore practical ways to assess what’s working, identify growth areas, and turn everyday teaching moments into insight for future success.  This workshop is in-person. Join Dr. Dolan for an hour of discussing topics related to holistic wellness and success in graduate school. Â Each session will include information and skills for enhancing wellness, followed by group discussion. RSVP here.

Hosted by the Graduate School, mock interviews offer a simulated experience of a first-round job interview. Participants will receive a full hour of time with administrators, including a 40-minute mock interview, 20 minutes of feedback, and a recording of the session afterwards to review. Students can email Annie Roufs to indicate their interest and receive more information. Spots are limited. The first round will take place on Friday, November 21.

Join Baylor GSA in Cashion 501 on November 11th from 6:00-8:00pm for an evening of celebration at the Diversity Gala. The theme for this year is "Innovating Bridges: Cultures in Conversation, Diversity in Celebration" and will celebrate unity through cultural exchange and dialogue, highlighting how diverse backgrounds and perspectives strengthen our community. Join us to for a program featuring inspiring words from Dr. Kevin Villegas and captivating performances by student organizations that represent Baylor’s vibrant cultural landscapes. This event is free and no registration is required.Â
