As we approach Spring, it is an exciting time for CITAL and Valpo. This time of year is about new beginnings and we are happy that the transition to Canvas, our new Learning Management System (LMS), has been going well. With any large implementation, there are things you learn, both positive and challenging. We wanted to highlight some of what is new in this edition of our newsletter. First, we share a story of how Christ College used Canvas Commons and Simple Syllabus to better coordinate the first-year program for their students. Next, we introduce you to our new originality reporting system, Turnitin, and provide information on how you can access this directly (it is also integrated with Canvas). Next, we turn our attention to the upcoming installment in Valpo's Faculty AI workshop series. Finally, we end with a few reminders about faculty development opportunities and technology resources.
