After dinner, Adults will hear a recap of the Mission and Ministry Morning Apart, Youth will engage in a Game Night, Bridge will enjoy an Art Night, and PHUMC Kids will continue their "What is this Lent thing?" study.

Please RSVP for dinner for next week, February 11, by noon on Monday, February 9 by clicking this link, calling the church office, or placing the reservation strip from Sunday's bulletin in the offering basket. Following dinner February 11, at 6:20, our Leadership Board will meet upstairs in the Education Building, Adults will remain in the Worship Center for conversation and fellowship, Youth and Bridge will head to Menchi's (bring your own money), and our kids will continue their Lent series.
Book Club Dates: Wednesday, February 25 & Wednesday, March 4. Pick up a copy of Call It Grace: Finding Meaning in a Fractured World by Serene Jones, start reading, and join us at 6:20 pm for conversation.

| Soon we will enter another season within the life of our faith and we have two ways to mark this transition within our Christian calendar. Join us Tuesday, February 17 at 6:00 pm in the worship center for our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, also known as Fat Tuesday or Pancake Day or Mardi Gras! This is the last day before we enter Lent and a season of fasting and reflection begins. Historically it was the day to use up all those rich ingredients like eggs, butter, and sugar before the time of fasting, so pancakes it is! It is a day to gather and celebrate, and we hope you will join us.
Following the pancake supper, we will see you back in the worship center at 6:00 pm Ash Wednesday, February 18 to begin our 40 day journey of Lent in preparation of Easter. On Ash Wednesday, we confront our own mortality and confess our individual and collective sin before God and our Christian community. The ashes, smeared on the forehead in the sign of the cross, are a symbol of mortality and repentance as we acknowledge the brokenness that still exists. We will offer a brief service of scripture, song, and prayer. If you can't make the service, drive-thru ashes will be available from noon to 1:00 pm outside the worship center.

| Women's Ministry Book Swap Saturday, February 21 10:00 am to Noon
Grab a book to swap, bring a snack to share, and come enjoy fellowship with your PHUMC friends. We will gather at the home of Monique Henderson. Not a book person? We've had others show up with a gift card to play along and join in the fun so who knows what you will take home!
*Optional: Bring an extra paperback book of a popular author to donate to Big House Books. No romance please.

| Wednesday Nights January 28 - March 4 our kids will learn all about the season of Lent. We hope to see you there as our children engage with the Christian year and learn more about the story of which they are a part. Reminder: Meal at 5:45 pm followed by activites at 6:20.
We always need volunteers to aid with our kids' ministry. For more information about any of our kids' ministry events contact Jennifer.

Bridge Senior Saint Lunch New Date: Sunday, March 15
Immediately following worship Sunday, March 15, our Bridgers will meet in the Garden Room with one of our "Senior Saint" adults to share a guided time of conversation and connection. Lunch will be provided. Parents can pickup their Bridger at 1:00.

February 8 - Super Bowl Sunday: The Henrys will host the youth in their home from 5:00 pm through halftime. Bring a snack to share.
February 15 - TBD: It looks like this weekend is not a good weekend for a retreat for our youth, so we will try and plan something that may work better. Stay tuned!
February 22 - Pizza Night and rescheduled Scavenger Hunt
March 1 - Art Night: Bech Evans is returning to treat the youth to another popular night of creative fun. See you there!
March 8 - No Engage: Enjoy your Spring Break!
