Note from Daan

Welcome to the first edition of the President’s Newsletter, which I will use periodically to update the Nazareth Community on developments at the College. In this first edition, I am very pleased to announce a very exciting gift to the College. The William and Sheila Konar Foundation has donated $500,000 to Nazareth to establish the Konar Center for Tolerance and Jewish Studies. The Konar Center will work closely with our Hickey Center for Interfaith Studies and Dialogue and the Center for Spirituality. It will provide educational opportunities and programming for students as well as Rochester community members that promote cross cultural awareness and deeper understanding of Judaism. Details about the Center are provided below.
