- On Monday, Oct. 5, Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) will host a community dinner to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Through the end of October, you can help support MSA’s future student opportunities by donating to its crowdfunding campaign.
- On Oct. 6 from 12:30-5:30 p.m., the LGBTQ Pride Center invites the campus community to PrideFest, an annual celebration of Wolfpack Pride on Stafford Commons. Through Oct. 23, you can contribute to a crowdfunding campaign to support PrideFest.
- Arts NC State just launched a new program called ArtsRx, which engages students in free arts experiences to impact well-being. A crowdfunding campaign will help raise funds to train and hire NC State students as Teaching Artist ArtsRx Fellows to lead these creative experiences for their peers.
- Beth Buck, DASA assistant vice chancellor for human resources, will speak at the People at Work Summit at Appalachian State University on Oct. 15. Early-bird registration is open through Oct. 1.
- Nominations are now open through Oct. 16 for the fall 2026 Staff Senate Cornerstone Awards, which honor staff members across the university who demonstrate excellence in their roles and make meaningful contributions to NC State.
- This general election season, your early voting location on campus is 1220 Varsity Drive Oct. 15-31. Check your registration or register to vote by Oct. 9, and make a plan to cast your ballot.
- Registration is now open for the 2026 First-Generation Student Summit on Monday, Nov. 2 in Talley Coastal Ballroom.

| | National Cybersecurity Awareness Month is almost here, which means so is the Cyber Bowl! From Oct. 1-31, NC State will host the third annual competition. To play, students, faculty and staff will take a short quiz to earn a point for NC State and be entered to win a prize.
