Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
I trust you are all enjoying your summer so far. As we prepare for the upcoming academic year, I am pleased to share an opportunity that supports one of our most shared goals – teaching excellence.
In partnership with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), Seton Hall will once again offer faculty the chance to participate in the Effective Teaching Practices course during the 2025-26 academic year. This nationally recognized program is designed to enhance student learning and engagement through evidence-based teaching strategies.
If you are interested in joining the next cohort, please complete the ACUE Interest Form by Friday, August 15. Space is limited to 33 participants. An information session with ACUE and past participants will be held on Thursday, August 14 from 12 – 1 p.m. in hybrid format (Teams and Presidents Hall, 3rd Floor Conference Room).
New this year, the course will launch with an in-person kickoff event on Friday, September 5 in the University Center, Event Lounge. This gathering will bring together the full cohort to connect, collaborate, and start the year with momentum. Lunch will be provided, and you'll meet your fellow faculty participants, reflect on your teaching goals, and preview the engaging journey ahead.
Please consider being part of this impactful initiative.
