Dear valued friend and supporter,
Early fall greetings from the Duke Lemur Center! As we end our busiest season for visitors, we are proud to report that that our education programs achieved record revenues thanks to an expanded schedule of premium tours and new merchandise available in our gift shop and through Duke Stores!
In addition, we'd like to celebrate our dedicated volunteers, who not only stretch the value of our donors' dollars every single day with their contributions of time and talents, but in the past month, they rallied together to personally contribute and raise generous donations during this challenging budget year. We're so grateful!
Looking forward: we'll be reaching out to you in the coming months with our annual appeal, and we deeply appreciate your consideration of a special gift to the Duke Lemur Center in your year-end giving plans! Please don't hesitate to contact me - I'd love to hear from you.
Wishing you a wonderful fall and sending our appreciation for your support!
Warmest regards,
Mary

Spaces are still available for Duke Alumni Engagement's Forever Learning Weekend event (Oct. 3-5) co-sponsored by the Duke Lemur Center. You do not need to be a Duke alum to attend! Activities include up-close lemur encounters and demonstrations exploring lemur welfare, veterinary care, conservation, and research.
