Neuhoff Media promotes two Lafayette broadcasters: CHR/WXXB (102.9fm, Delphi) PD Jared Jesulaitis moves to Neuhoff/Lafayette Sports Director duties, along with morning co-host on sister Sports/WASK (1450am, Lafayette) and FM translator W269DJ (101.7fm, Lafayette). Succeeding Mr. Jesulaitis to program B102.9 is APD Joe LaCay.
Where Are They Now? Former WLFI-TV meteorologist Cameron Hardin joins WLWT-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio as weekend meteorologist.
Central
Several changes at CBS affiliate/WTTV-TV (Channel 4), FOX affiliate/WXIN-TV (Channel 59), and WTTK-TV (Channel 29, Kokomo): Anchor/Reporter Aishah Hasnie and Reporters Olivia McClellan and Tricia Whitaker all exit.
Ms. Hasnie will join Fox News Channel as an overnight anchor and correspondent.
Ms. Whitaker joins as a reporter for Fox Sports Sun, and she will cover the Tampa Bay Rays.
Ms. McClellan accepts a communications role with the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter.
Dylan Salisbury adds APD responsibilities to his existing MD/Afternoon roles at Entercom's CHR/WZPL (99.5fm, Greenfield).
Where Are They Now? Former WISH-TV weekend meteorologist Eboni Deon will join WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia, as their weekend morning meteorologist.
Where Are They Now? Former WJJK/WYRG PD Jay Michaels becomes PD of KQHN ("Q97.3") in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Southwest
Where Are They Now? Former WZPL (99.5fm, Greenfield) night jock and WSTO (96.1fm, Owensboro, Kentucky) PD Jason Addams becomes PD of WGH-FM in Norfolk, Virginia ("97.3 The Eagle") under VP/Programming Rusty James (himself, a former Midwest Communications/Evansville OM).

January 27: In 2004, former Fort Wayne DJ "Charlie Franklin" (Charlie Willer) passed away. Age 50.
January 28: In 2008, 95.3fm in Brookston (Lafayette) changes call letters from WLFF ("Wolf") to WBPE ("Bob Plays Everything").
January 29: In 2005, veteran Chicago and Fort Wayne station owner Frank Kovas dies. Age 81.
January 30: In 1975, 104.9fm in Columbus signed on as WWWY. Today, it's WINN.
January 31: In 1954, Major Edwin Howard Armstrong dies. Age 63. In 1974, Channel 34 in South Bend signed on as WNIT-TV ("Northern Indiana Television"), and remains so today. In 2001, Crawfordsville's WCVL/WIMC GM Dick Munro retired as GM. In 2006, WYNG (94.9fm, Mount Carmel, Illinois) changed formats from Sports to Adult Contemporary at 6:00PM. In 2010, Joseph P. ("Joe") Sweeney dies. Age 85. Mr. Sweeney started stations in Kokomo, Rochester (WROI), and Columbia City (WFDT), among others.
February 1: In 1948, 1230am in Tell City signs on as WTCJ, and remains so today. In 1984, Channel 59 in Indianapolis signs on as WPDS (for owners Ron Palmero, Chris Duffy, and Melvin Simon). Today, it's WXIN-TV. In 1992, former WNTS (1590am, Beech Grove) Chief Engineer Warren Fooks died. Age 69. In 2004, northwest Indiana broadcaster Paul Wierman (WJOB, WLCL, WWCA, WZVN) dies. Age 65.
February 2: In 2001, former Federated Media then-WQHK(AM)/WMEE-FM GM Robert Elliott dies.
February 3: In 2006, former WLBC(AM) (1340am, Muncie) PD Lee Allerton dies. Age 86. In 2015, 98.3fm in Culver signs on as WYMR, and remains so today.
February 4: In 2000, Jim Leep dies. Age 59. Mr. Leep lead (GM) what was then Religious/WGTC (102.3fm, New Carlisle). In 2005, two different radio stations flipped formats on opposite ends of the state. First up, WLRX (95.7fm, Nappanee) flips format from Hot AC ("Magic") to Rhythmic CHR ("Power"). Second, WLFW (95.3fm, Chandler) flips format from Oldies ("Oldies 93.5") to Country ("The Wolf").
February 5: In 1965, 97.3fm in Fort Wayne signs on as WKJG-FM. Today, it's WMEE. In 1998, IRW began.
February 6: In 2006, WUBU (106.3fm, South Bend) flipped format from Smooth Jazz to Urban AC.
February 7: In 1972, 91.9fm in Lafayette signs on as WJJE. Today, it's WJEF.
February 8: In 1960, 95.1fm in Fort Wayne signs on as WPTH. Today, it's WAJI.
February 9: In 2005, former Indianapolis, South Bend, and Lafayette air personality Steve Bokor ("Bobby Rivers") dies. Age 52.

Promotions Director – WAJI, WLDE, WAJI-HD2, Fort Wayne, IN
The Promotions Director will work with programming, digital and sales departments to develop and execute successful promotional campaigns; build and maintain relationships with advertisers, and promotional partners; serve as the liaison representing the station and its promotional opportunities. This is a position that will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
Develop creative and innovative promotional events and campaigns
Represent stations brands including Majic 95.1, Fun 101.7 and ALT 99.5, Fort Wayne, IN
Assist Sales in creating revenue generating opportunities
Oversee and execute all on site station promotional events
Lead the Promotions department from ideas to promotion execution
Work closely with Operations Manager as well as the management team
Conduct and direct weekly promotions meeting
Oversee all contest prizes and contest rules with assistance from management
Database maintenance
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively manage and develop employees in a very busy, and creative environment
Familiarity with Fort Wayne and Northeast IN area helpful, but not required
Working knowledge and understanding of Radio Programming & Sales, specifically individual formats and their target audiences
Ability to assist in maximizing promotional revenue opportunities
Excellent writing/editing and computer skills, including Power Point and Photoshop
Experience in promotions, marketing, radio or related industry preferred
Understanding of digital marketing & promotion and social media platforms
Leadership and Management skills helpful
Education: College education preferred, but not required
Must have valid driver’s license, and you will be required to pass a background check.

44News (WEVV-TV) in Evansville, Indiana, is looking for a Weekend Meteorologist/Weekday Reporter.
The successful candidate will be familiar with weather terminology and have the ability to put together and deliver a clear, understandable, and accurate weather forecast. That person will also be able to act as a general assignment reporter/MMJ which includes the ability to take complex issues and situations and explain them in clear, concise, and accurate story form; enterprise stories; cultivate sources; and communicate effectively in both the spoken and written word.
Familiarity with Edius or similar editing software, Inception or similar newsroom computer system, and Baron or a similar newsroom weather system is necessary. The ability to shoot and edit video is also a must.
