HRM Department

UPDATES ON THE COVID-19 SITUATION WILL BE DELIVERED VIA EMAIL.
Classes
Following the University's precautionary decision, the Hospitality and Retail Management department will be transitioning all courses to an online delivery method. Please be patient with faculty as they transition course materials and update class schedules. If you require special assistance, please reach out to your instructor to further discuss the measures necessary for your success.
As a department, we vow to do everything in our power to maintain the quality of your education during this time. If you have any questions regarding the departmental measures to keep Red Raiders safe during the COVID-19 virus, please contact (806) 742-3068.
Faculty and Staff
HRM faculty and staff will continue to report as normal. Should the virus escalate, further measures will be put in place to ensure the safety of our employees. TA's and RA's will be more valuable now than ever as they assist their leading faculty in transitioning all courses to an online delivery method.
Skyviews
Skyviews Restaurant will cease all operations following lunch on March 13th. Although Lunch and Dinner Series are a Red Raider favorite, we keep the safety of our employees and loyal customers held to the highest of standards.
Skyviews will reopen in September of 2020, following a state-of-the-art remodel funded by a generous $585,000 gift from the Moody Foundation. Read more (and get excited) about the renovation HERE >>
Events
All Spring 2020 departmental gatherings will be canceled to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, the Hospitality and Retail Symposium will not be occurring on April 7, 2020. All Study Abroad and Faculty-Led Field Trips will also be canceled. Students will be refunded for any fees paid.
