Sunapsis Launch: Processing Freeze - What to Know!

 In preparation for the March 18th launch, a processing freeze will take effect between Saturday, March 9, 2024 through Sunday, March 17, 2024. During this time, ISEO's systems to process immigration documents and advise students will be unavailable.  

• Are You Considering a Leave of Absence for Spring 2024?  

  • If you need to take a leave of absence starting Spring 2024, you must apply BEFORE the quarter begins. Visit ISEO's Leave of Absence information page for important dates and resources. 

• Planning travel over Spring Break (March 25-29)? 

  • Visit iTravel.ucsd.edu for tips to consider when traveling as an international student. 

• Employment Resources for International Students 

  • Did you know that ISEO has a variety of employment resources to help you in your career journey? Check out these international student-specific resources, including information on H-1B sponsoring employers throughout the U.S. And don't forget about our weekly OPT Information Sessions! • J-1 Students: Working On Campus in Spring 2024?   
  • J-1 students require work authorization for on-campus employment, before any work begins. If you have an on-campus job set to start next quarter, apply for employment authorization now to avoid issues with maintaining your J-1 status.
