Tonight!
We hope to see you tonight, Wednesday, June 18, for a hamburger and hot dog meal as we close out VBS. We will also be celebrating our Associate Pastor, Rev. Haven Boyd, as she prepares for her next appointment. We'll eat first, and after the meal, waterslides will be ready to go for some outside water fun for our kids!

And make plans to join us Sunday, June 22 at 10:45 am as our children lead us in worship and share all about Vacation Bible School. Children will meet at 9:30 am this Sunday in the Worship Center to practice.

Sunday, June 22 will be Rev. Haven Boyd's last Sunday with Parkway Hills UMC before she begins her new appointment with Galloway UMC July 1. We have two ways you can say goodbye and celebrate her. Wednesday, June 18 we will close out VBS with a hamburger/hot dog meal at 5:30 pm in the worship center. Come eat, fellowship, and share your well wishes with Pastor Haven. Or, join us for a Karaoke goodbye at Papitos/111 Colony Crossing Way in Madison Sunday, June 22 at 6:00 pm. Come ready to sing and celebrate Pastor Haven. We do request an RSVP if you plan to join us at Papitos. RSVP to Pastor Dawn here by Friday, June 20 at noon.

Celebrate is one of our core values at Parkway Hills, and what better time to celebrate than in the summer! For the month of July we are moving worship to 10:00 am, and we will kick it off with Brunch Worship Sunday, July 6. Bring a brunch or breakfast dish to share and join us in the worship center as we worship while we share table. We will not livestream worship Sunday, July 6. With the exception of Open Doors, Sunday School will not meet in July. Open Doors will meet at 9:00 am throughout July.

Join us for Sunday School!
The children's ministry will continue hearing the many stories in the Bible as we journey through the Old and New Testaments. We have moved to an all-age Sunday School class held in the Garden Room at 9:30 a.m. Children in grades Pre K 3 - 6th grade are welcome to join us.

Children's Sunday School will not meet in July. We will resume Sunday School with Promotion Sunday activites, Sunday, August 3.

We always need volunteers to aid with our kids ministry. For more information about any of our kids ministry events contact Pastor Haven.

New Sunday School Curriculum
From Sparkhouse, a new curriculum “think.believe.do. Mission,” explores the role and meaning of mission in the life of faith. A great discussion starter as some of our youth prepare to serve in Kentucky this summer. Youth Sunday School will not meet in July. We will resume Sunday School with Promotion Sunday activites, Sunday, August 3.

Summer dates to Mark:

Sunday, July 13: Engage 5:30-7:30 pm to plan youth-led worship for the following Sunday. We need everyone there!

Wednesday, July 16: Youth Geyser Falls Day

Sunday, July 20: Youth Led Worship at 10:00 am

Sunday, July 27: Christmas in July 5:30-7:30 pm

Friday, August 1: Back to School Waterslide Party 6:00-9:00 pm at the Flowers house
