|  | Join the Children's Ministry in the Garden at 9:30 on Sunday, Feb. 12 for a Valentine's Party. We will have plenty of crafts, activities and games for ages 3 - grade 5 as we explore God's love for us and how we share that love with our friends and neighbors. Wear Valentine's themed clothing and come ready to party in God's love!

It's time for our 2nd Annual Secret Galentine Signup! Galentine's Day is officially February 13, so let's spread some love among us!
If you are interested in participating, you will be responsible for dropping off a Valentine themed surprise to a PHUMC Galentine between February 10th and February 13th. There is a price suggestion of approximately $25. The gift should include a gift tag with your name. The following info will allow us to pass along some of your preferences to your secret valentine.
The last day to sign up is February 3rd and we will be randomizing the list of participants and sending out the secret Galentine names and responses on February 5th.

We recently received 20 boxes of 250 pairs of socks per box! Thanks to Bombas, PHUMC is able to provide socks to those in need through MadCAAP, Stewpot, Grace Place Homeless Ministry, Palabra Viva Church, River City Rescue Mission Men's Homeless Shelter in Vicksburg, Lifting Lives Family Shelter in Vicksburg, Haven House Shelter for Abused Women in Vicksburg, United Way, Children's Shelter in Vicksburg, Community Council serving the elderly in Vicksburg, Storehouse Food Pantry, Beautiful Deliverance, Methodist Children's Home, Hispanic Ministry at First Morton UMC, Food Pantry at Wells UMC, Food Pantry at We Are One UMC in Jackson.

Thank You!It is clear that much love is in this place for Ron and Penny Allison. We have received donations to purchase and place the plaque on our memorial wall at PHUMC's Columbarium in memory of Ron and Penny. All additional donations will be given to one of Ron's favorite charities, Heart Care International, which serves the lives of needy children born with congenital heart defects. Ron served on its medical advisory board. If you would like to donate to aid the men's ministry in honoring Ron and Penny, mark "Ron and Penny memorial" on the memo line.
Memorial plaques cost $250.00. If you have never visited our lovely Columbarium space, we hope you will make plans to do so. If you have any questions about our Columbarium, you can contact anyone on our Columbarium committee: Chris Gibbs, Charles Guess, Chere Peel, Jim Robertson, Sarah Turner, or Anne Yates.

Thank You, PHUMC, for Grace Place DonationsPHUMC recently provided over a thousand dollars in supplies for Galloway UMC's Grace Place homeless ministry, serving people who call the streets of Jackson home. Items such as Kroger gift cards, ponchos, bug spray, forks, cups and a coffee urn were purchased and and will be delivered to Grace Place by Juliet Huam and Jerry Sandlin. PHUMC volunteers serve Grace Place on the first and third Wednesday of every month. They carpool from PHUMC at 7:00 am. If you would like to help with this ministry, contact Juliet Huam.

PHUMC will send $1,920.00, which will provide 16 scholarships to Honduran students through Becas con Bendiciones. Thank you for your generosity in sponsoring these students and changing their lives for the better.
