NETRF Collaborates with ERF to Fund Nuclear Medicine NET Grant


The first NETRF/ERF Nuclear Medicine Pilot Research Grant has been awarded to Thomas Hope, MD, of the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). NETRF is funding the grant to explore innovations in nuclear medicine focused on diagnosis and treatment. ERF—The Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging—solicited proposals and convened the scientific review panel to select the grantee.

NETRF-AACR Grant Opportunity

The Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation-AACR Grant represents a joint effort to promote and support innovative cancer research.

This grant is available to independent junior and senior investigators to develop new ideas and innovative approaches that have direct application and relevance to intestinal carcinoid and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.

International Perspectives on NETs Featured at NYC Patient Conference


NETRF’s NYC patient educational conference, on November 10, 2016, featured international perspectives on neuroendocrine cancer research and treatment. More than 150 attendees heard from 13 speakers and learned about the newest advances in neuroendocrine cancer treatment and care. Experts from Germany and Australia joined the conference via live video conferencing to share their knowledge. 

Conference presentations included the latest information on clinical trials, immunotherapy research, PRRT, surgery options, symptom management, and integrative psychosocial health. Videos of the conference presentations will be available for online viewing in the near future. Please follow NETRF on social media and netrf.org for updates on their availability.
