Carbondale Emergency Task Force Urges Community Responsibility
Around Halloween Celebrations
The Carbondale Emergency Task Force (CETF) is urging the community to plan for Halloween in a responsible way to ensure the number of COVID-19 cases does not spike through community spread. Instead of Trick or Treating this year, The CETF suggests considering following State of Colorado and Garfield County Public Health tips on alternative ways to celebrate Halloween.

Ranch House Fall Hours
The Ranch House has now transitioned to Fall Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday - 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tennis Courts Remain Open
RVR Clay Tennis Courts will remain open while temperatures stay above freezing. When freezing temperatures occur at night, the courts form a layer of frost on the surface.  When this happens, during the day, the frost will melt and courts become soft, muddy and unplayable. At that point RVR will have to close the courts. We will keep the community posted on any closures or updates.
We would also like to extend a big thank you to our maintenance crew for a job well done maintaining and grooming RVR's beautiful clay courts this season. We appreciate you!

Reminders & Highlights

A Special Thank You From Cristina
It is amazing to say that I have been working at River Valley Ranch for 9 years now. I feel very fortunate to be a part of such wonderful community! I want to send a big THANK YOU to each and every one of you for supporting the tennis program and most of all for always making me feel at home! I am looking forward to another great tennis season filled with great memories!
Please be aware, Tennis Clinics end on Saturday, Oct. 17.

Compost Disposal
RVR members may now bring their leaves and small branches to the Ranch House parking lot. Look for the large dumpster towards the back of the parking lot and remember to dump your items out of the box or bag you brought them in! Nothing larger than your thumb in diameter or we have to pay to dump the load.

RVR Old Town Residents Group
The residents and community members of Old Town have launched their own Facebook Group page, designed to serve as an online platform to connect with each other, share information and dialogue—a sort of online Neighborhood Watch. This is a private page only for residents only, and is not managed by the old Town Advisory Committee or the RVR HOA. To join the page, simply search for RVR Old Town Residents Group on Facebook and send a request to join.
