Successful Doctor's Day on the Hill

Doctors' Day on the Hill was a great success with our Tennessee state legislators. Nearly 50 representatives from the Nashville Academy of Medicine attended, including physicians, residents, and medical students. Thank you to each of you for giving your time to represent the issues of importance to physicians today including scope of practice, physician wellness, Dr. Benjamin Mauck Act, and insurer clawbacks.

Thank You to Our 2,100+ Physician Volunteers!

During National Volunteer Month, we extend a heartfelt thank you to our physician volunteers! These dedicated doctors support our mission by serving on the Nashville Academy of Medicine and Medical Foundation Boards, committees and work groups, and as delegates to the TMA House of Delegates. And more than 2,100 physicians have volunteered through Project Access Nashville to provide care to our low-income, uninsured neighbors. Your efforts save lives and continue to make Tennessee a great place to practice medicine.
Thank you, Doctors!

2024 Membership Renewals

As we gear up for an impactful 2024 legislative session, both NAM and TMA are excited to kickstart the membership renewal for the year. If you're an individual member keep an eye out for the join TMA/NAM invoice sent your way via mail or email. Meanwhile, group members will receive separate invoices from NAM.

Don't forget, your dues also contribute to the essential work of the Medical Foundation of Nashville and TMA Political Action Committee.

To request a new invoice or gather more details, reach out to Jessica via jmiller@nashvillemedicine.org. Your dues play a crucial role in supporting our diverse programming, from TMA's advocacy and governmental affairs initiatives to legal aid, and local events at NAM.
