Hi SF.gov editors,
ย
It's almost August! (Or "Fogust" as we would say.) Crossing fingers we get a mix of sun in there, but we hope you're enjoying stone fruit season regardless!ย

NEW FEATURES
What's new for editors
|
|
|
Human translation service update
Our translation vendor has their services back! We'll be able to start submitting new jobs next week.
ย
In the meantime, all pages will have their current human or Google-sourced translations available.
|
Fixed meeting bugs
We've fixed:
- Upcoming meetings are no longer showing up in the past meeting list
- Unpublished meetings are now displaying on draft public body pages for logged in editors
|
Coming soon
We're continuing to work on combining department and public body content types, so that public bodies will be easier and more flexible to use.
ย
Weโre also improving a handful of accessibility issues, and translation editing.

DID YOU KNOW?
Today's publishing tip
|
Create accessible PDFs
Yes, we're often telling you to avoid PDFs on SF.gov. But if you have to upload one, you might as well make sure it's accessible! The easiest method is to create an accessible document (Word or Google Doc) to begin with, using heading paragraph formats as appropriate.
ย
Read more about creating accessible PDFs.
