Ash Recycling & Processing Facility Completed
The Authority broke ground on the Ash Recycling & Processing Facility in fall of 2016. This new facility utilizes proprietary ash processing and recycling technology and is the first facility built to operate this patented process in the Unites States. The process harvests viable commodities generated by trash combustion, such as aggregate, metal and glass, from the ash generated by trash combustion. and reduces the overall remaining volume of ash that needs to be diposed.
