Last month, the Kaya HR team continued our tradition of adopting a local family for the holidays from the Christmas Family Adoption Foundation and we wanted to share our experience!
We had registered previously so it was quick and easy to use their site to select a family--this year one with two boys and a single parent. All eight of us signed up to donate a variety of household items, clothes, toys and treats as suggested on their wish lists. We were able to include our own families in the purchasing and wrapping of the gifts, then Heidi paid a visit to our adopted family on December 22nd to drop off the present haul. They were excited and it was rewarding to see the impact our gifts made.

Federal and Oregon OSHA record keeping rules require most employers to prepare, maintain and post records of their occupational injuries and illnesses using the OSHA 300 log. Some employers (those with ten or fewer employees and those in certain low-hazard industries) are exempt from this requirement. If you are not exempt, we will prepare your 2023 OSHA 300 log and provide it to you for posting during the required timeframe (February 1 through April 30 each year).
