I want to field a short survey for my research, now what? |
Our recent Dean’s speaker, Dr. Wilson from the University of Connecticut, shared her success using Centiment’s online recruiting and survey platform to field brief surveys with particular populations (e.g., fathers who have children with disabilities). In one case she used the survey to collect information on cultural beliefs. Her data allowed her to both inform parenting theory and develop a parenting intervention. National surveys are frequently preferable, but may not have the sample size or questions you need. There are several firms that offer similar services: Centiment, Qualtrics panel, Prolific, SSRS, Dynata, RTI, and User Interviews (UK based).
Reminder: the College supports statistical consulting from faculty in our Statistics department. Email Alison Cuellar, aevanscu@gmu.edu, to learn how to access these consulting services.

Canvas migration: check for broken video links |
Blackboard access ends July 15. Some migrated courses have broken video links. Confirm your video links work and all other content is present before July 15. If you find a broken or missing video link, contact the instructional design team at HLTHLRN@gmu.edu. We will have an easier time fixing the link if we can still access the original video in Blackboard.
