Upcoming Award Deadlines

Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships- Deadline: May 26! Scholarships offered by the Scottish Government in collaboration with Scottish universities in the areas of science, technology, creative industries, healthcare and medical sciences, and renewable and clean energy. The scheme offers up to 50 awards, each worth £8000, towards tuition fees for any one year of full time study on a postgraduate Masters programme at any of Scotland’s higher education institutions. 

California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) Scholarship- Deadline: June 1! The California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) is pleased to invite all qualified California residents to apply for a scholarship. This scholarship program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses. You do not have to be Latinx to apply.

Golden Women Scholarship- Deadline: June 15. Golden Women Foundation provides scholarships based on need and exceptional citizenship. Women who excel in their community through volunteer efforts, whether they are new to college, currently enrolled or always wanted the opportunity to go to school to obtain a degree or further their careers may qualify for a scholarship.

Lydia Donaldson Tutt-Jones Memorial Research Grant- Deadline: June 7. This $5,000 grant provides financial support to students and professionals who conduct research to study African American success, particularly in the area of education. It is offered to encourage the building of the science of African American success by studying those attitudes and behaviors that cause people to attain high academic achievement. The research can focus upon early childhood education, student performance in the elementary, middle or high school years, as well as the attitudes and behaviors that help individuals finish vocational/technical school, college, graduate school, and excel in their jobs and careers. Students must be recommended by a faculty mentor who agrees to oversee the project and the submission of a publishable caliber paper upon its completion.

Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Award- Deadline: May 20! Scholarships of up to $10,000 were created to help provide educational opportunities for the future generation of scientists. have a declared major of biology, chemistry, bio-chemistry or a related life science field. Students pursuing healthcare-related fields may not participate in this program.

Global Policy Institute Research Fellow at LMU- Deadline: May 6! GPI@LMU is accepting applications for undergraduate research fellows. We seek highly self-motivated candidates with a passion for international relations and global policy. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills (oral and written) and an ability to work with others. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to provide research support for faculty-led projects and also initiate their own research projects.
