Heart Berries: A Memoir by Terese Marie Mailhot

“Don't be fooled by this slim book! This memoir packs a serious emotional punch. Maillot winds through her own mind with vulnerable, elegant, and sometimes self-mocking prose as she tries to cope with horrors imposed upon her by others and herself. Her struggles to reconcile her incredibly traumatic past as well as her identity as a mother, a member of the indigenous community, and a woman leave you with a strange sense of triumph at the end despite the crushing weight of her story.” - Lara, Patron Services

Library Stories
“Thank you for this wonderful oasis in the City of Boulder. There is always something to discover at the library.” - Survey Taker 156
"We still check out books regularly and use the hold shelf—which in and of itself is an incredible gift, especially for busy parents who need to do it all online, then grab and go. Thank you, library staff and volunteers, for making this one of our favorite places in the city." - Sarah
