We Love Fall!!

The PHUMC Children's Department enjoyed the Autumn breeze at the Moseley Meadows Pumpkin Patch last Sunday. The children received pumpkins of all sizes to carve and paint with their families. Children and parents spent the day racing down slides, taking train rides and playing in corn pits to celebrate the season. The trip to the Pumpkin Patch was a great way to kick off the Fall season as we look forward to our Trick or Treat Trail on Sunday, Oct. 30 and A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on Wednesday, Nov. 2. We hope you'll join in the fun!

Adults, get involved in what God is doing in our ministry! We have some upcoming needs for the Fall Retreat and 5th Quarter Pancake Dinner, as well as a few Sunday nights in October and November. We need both a dinner provider and a volunteer for October 16. Click the links to get signed up or contact Geoff for more info.

Dr. Phil Maynard, author of Disciple Like Jesus, has been invited by the MS Annual Conference to host a one-day Leadership Summit on Saturday, October 15th from 8 to 4:30 at Crossgates UMC. Join other United Methodists to listen and learn together about how evangelism is not so much a plan as it is a way of life.  Clergy and laity from across the conference will be leading breakout sessions, sharing real examples of ministries and ways that congregations are connecting with their communities and changing lives for Jesus Christ. This is not an event to miss. Cost is $25.  Click here for more info and to register.
