Moving Back To UWM This Fall

Move-in time for many students is just a month away, and some students living off-campus this coming school year may be moving in as soon as August 1. If your student will be living in UWM's residence halls this fall, move-in information is now available online. If your student will be living off-campus, or even is still looking for a place to live, UWM's Neighborhood Housing Office provides resources and assistance to students living in properties in the neighborhoods surrounding the east side campus. 

First Nadella Scholarship Winners Announced

Anytime Dining Comes To UWM

Anytime Dining means a residential dining plan holder can enter any Residential Dining Hall at any time, as many times as they would like, and eat as much as they care to eat. A variety of plans are available, including packages with guest passes and additional dining dollars. LEARN MORE

Free And Low-Cost Things To Do In Milwaukee

Milwaukee offers a wide variety of free and budget-friendly activities year-round. The Milwaukee Public Museum offers free admission on the first Thursday of every month, while the Milwaukee County Zoo offers Family Free days throughout the year. The next one is scheduled for Oct. 1. Visit Milwaukee has additional information about other great summer options, include Swan Boat rentals and Milwaukee's great collection of beer gardens.

Transportation Services Updates

Make sure you and your student have answers to all transportation and parking-related questions by visiting the UWM Transportation Services website. The site also has information on UPASS and Milwaukee County Transit, as well as other helpful tips.

Great Events Set For This Fall

There are a number of events this fall to help your student become more engaged at UWM. Fall Welcome, Panther Family and Friends Day and Homecoming are all on the schedule as your student comes to campus for the start of school. Plus the Career Planning and Resource Center will be offering a variety of job-related events.
