Eligibility requirements will remain the same as prior years, so we encourage scholars to start thinking about fundable projects over winter break.

New Center-Scale Seed Fund Will Launch in Early 2024 |
OVPR will launch a new Center-Scale (Multi-Investigator) Seed Fund (CSSF) in early 2024 that will invest in research directions where an internal up-front investment can lead to externally funded “center-scale” research programs. CSSF recognizes that the preparation of winning center-scale grant proposals requires significant investments of time, networking and new partnerships with colleagues from other disciplines within GW, other universities, national laboratories or industry. These funds will be used to nucleate and grow collaborations and partnerships and provide teams with the resources needed to successfully compete for specific call(s) from external funding agencies/organizations. Once the program has launched, CSSF applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
